SenseTech
Our Story
SenseTech was founded through a successful partnership with Louisiana State University’s Center for Rotating Machinery (CeROM). Combining university research with decades of industry experience, our team transformed innovative research into a practical solution for manufacturers.
This collaboration led to the development of TRACE (Technology for Real-time Analysis and Condition Evaluation), a patented sensing technology designed to monitor non-Newtonian manufacturing processes in real time.
What Makes TRACE Different?
Instead of relying on traditional sampling and laboratory testing, TRACE provides continuous process monitoring while production is underway.
This allows manufacturers to:
- Monitor product consistency in real time
- Reduce waste and production variability
- Improve product quality
- Make faster operational decisions
- Increase process efficiency
Research Meets Real-World Manufacturing
Our technology has been successfully tested in commercial manufacturing environments and validated through research conducted with LSU.
TRACE was originally developed for grease manufacturing but has broader applications across industries that process non-Newtonian materials, including:
- Lubricants
- Food processing
- Cosmetics
- Specialty chemicals
- Adhesives
Our Mission Statement
SenseTech delivers solutions to industry by applying science to solve complex manufacturing challenges. In partnership with Louisiana State University’s Center for Rotating Machinery, we identify emerging scientific advances and translate them into practical products for manufacturers. Our solutions bring the benefits of cutting-edge science to help customers reduce costs, use resources more efficiently, and improve their processes. All our efforts are framed by our customers, because they are the reason SenseTech exists.
